by fancy I mean
we all know I don't brush my hair much less worry about my looks
So, what does a girl like me
love
beauty (snort, snort) or otherwise?
My newest passion

Arizona Energy Herbal Tonic
yummy
and cheap
.99 for a 23 oz can
I read a review at the Caffeine Guru that sums up exactly how I feel
and thanks too, to the caffeine guru for the photo of the can!
Not so much a beauty product for me
more of a joy product
I am a picky girl
meaning I pick at things like a monkey
God help my son when he starts to get zits!!!!
So this amazing dog brush or as they call it shedding blade
that somehow snatches the undercoat of my dog
like no other
gives me hours of pleasure and happiness
plus, I think it's good for the dog n stuff
I'm not big on a whole lot perfume
but what I do love
and probably the only thing I can actually use from Bath and Body Works
is their warm vanilla sugar body splash
or fresh vanilla splash
I keep it by the tub so when I'm done with washing my hair
I can spray it in
It helps me not smell like an ashtray
and for some reason it seems to last longer when put in wet hair
or maybe that part is just my imagination
Coming from the girl that doesn't wear, gel, hairspray, or ANY styling product
I cannot live without
Biolage
my friend Crazy bought (or stole???) me some way back in 1997 or 1998
she has hard to manage super long super curly hair
I was complaining that I could not get a brush through my hair
when I did it was fly away
and threatening to shave my head
she brought me a bottle of the shampoo and the conditioner
It was amazing
However, at the time Biolage was very expensive
I don't know if it is now...
because
I found the Suave knock off
and I tried it
I was skeptical
and didn't want to fight to get a comb through my hair
but it was/is exactly the same
it smells the same
and it works the same
and at the time, Biolage was 19.99 for a bottle
and Suave is 1.99 for a bottle
perfect
I have very dry
very sensitive skin
any yummy scented creams
or lotions
tend to have an adverse effect on my skin
so I stick with Aveeno
Eucerin
I discovered the Eucrin when my oldest son had horrible diaper rash
his doctor told me to stop using diaper rash cream
he said the stuff was horrible on skin
(it made B's tiny baby butt actually peel)
and told me to start using Eucerin
not only did B's baby butt turn healthy and smooth
butt my hands felt pretty nice after rubbing in any extra
The Aveeno, I found before it was popular
I was shopping, knowing my skin, and remembered that when I was little
and had any sort of skin irritation
my Mom would make a paste out of oatmeal for me
or throw a bunch of oatmeal in my bath
(she grew up on a farm so she has lots of these old school treatments)
So I bought it
and it worked
and I did not have a bad reaction to it
I can even use it on my face without a horrible breakout
or chapped dry patches
But these are my cannot live without basics
maybe
if I get tired of political blogging again
I'll make it a series

Today is the last day for Michigan!!!!!

Aquaphor (made by Eucerin) is my MUST HAVE in winter. Already the eczema on my hands is starting to kick up now that we've had a few cold days.
It is hard to keep the Aquaphor on my hands because the consistency is like Vaseline, but it's the only over-the-counter product that kicks my eczema to the curb.
Love Eucerin and it's line of products!
